The Hot Dog bag, unveiled during CELINE's Summer 2026 runway show, has officially landed on the maison's website this week. Its signature design features a rounded, fluid silhouette reminiscent of a hot dog 🌭, complete with a semi-circular metal twist lock and leather streamers on the sides that add a sense of movement. The clean lines exude an elegant yet effortless French aesthetic.

Crafted from supple calfskin with a lambskin lining, the bag’s double-wrap construction yields a plump, rounded silhouette—like a bun generously filled with toppings—imparting a relaxed, laid-back vibe.

The semi-circular metal twist lock echoes the iconic design of the 16 Bag, with the Triomphe insignia and CELINE PARIS lettering engraved on either side—a subtle nod to the house's heritage. The top-opening closure allows for easy, one-handed access, and even when left naturally ajar like on the runway, your belongings stay secure.

The leather shoulder strap features an interior slider to adjust its length, allowing for hand-carry, shoulder, or crossbody styling. Inside, the bag offers two compartments plus a zip pocket, available in Small (29.5x13x3.5 cm) and Large (41x16x8 cm) sizes.

The solid leather versions come in three classic, versatile shades: Tan and Black in Small, and Bordeaux in Large. The calfskin boasts a warm sheen that highlights the central gold twist lock, delivering a minimalist yet polished look.

The Small Hot Dog also comes in a canvas version featuring the C Sulky carriage emblem. The red canvas with tan leather trim evokes a vintage collegiate vibe. The CELINE Sulky emblem, introduced in 1966 and designed by founder Celine Vipiana, draws inspiration from the American Sulky—a two-wheeled carriage—and stands as one of the brand's earliest iconic motifs.
