FENDI's 2027 Resort collection brings the Croissant bag — born in the 1990s — back into the spotlight. Inspired by the croissant pastry 🥐, the design pairs an elegant yet playful half-moon silhouette with the classic FF buckle, its compact form capturing an easy, unhurried attitude.

The Croissant made its debut on the FENDI Fall/Winter 1999 runway. An offshoot of the Baguette®, its crescent-shaped body strikes a clever balance between whimsy and practicality, slipping seamlessly into looks for every occasion from day to night.

The new Croissant carries over the instantly recognizable half-moon silhouette and FF clasp, while a newly designed adjustable strap allows for more versatile ways to wear it — tucked under the arm for a nonchalant look, or worn crossbody to keep hands free. At 94cm, the strap sits comfortably even over heavy fall/winter outerwear. Measuring 14×22×3cm, the body holds a standard smartphone, wallet, keys, lipstick and other daily essentials, delivering both good looks and real utility.

This season offers core styles in black and silver crackled-effect calfskin, FF Zucca jacquard fabric, and tobacco-brown panther jacquard fabric, each finished with a silver or gold FF square buckle. The retro monogram and classic colorways work with any style.

The special-edition Croissant is fully embroidered with sequins, evoking the purple sequined Baguette snatched in Sex and the City — a fitting nod to that iconic moment. Two extra-long fringe styles are also offered: one in black-and-white panther-print pony calfskin, the other in black vintage calfskin, with flowing long fringes that bring a sense of movement to the bag.
