· CELINE Cube Logo-Print Canvas Bag ·

The Cube is the newest addition to CELINE's Triomphe Frame handbag family, a deft marriage of antique vanity-case design and modern geometric lines. Its compact cubic silhouette is paired with a metal frame closure, the monogram canvas nods to the house's signature codes, and the Triomphe clasp remains the undisputed focal point.

· Design Inspiration ·

The CELINE Cube made its debut in creative director Michael Rider's first collection for the house. Crisp and compact, its cubic structure draws on the antique vanity case while echoing such archival styles as the Triomphe vanity case and the Box Cuir Triomphe.

A vanity case is a box made to hold grooming and cosmetic essentials. The oldest known example was unearthed by British archaeologist Howard Carter and dates back more than 3,000 years. In China, the dressing case known as lian evolved from the Warring States period through the Ming and Qing dynasties; in the Warring States and Qin-Han eras these were often lacquered, and reserved for the nobility.

Europe took the vanity case to new heights in the 1920s, when leading jewelers crafted them from precious materials with virtuoso techniques — enamel painting, gemstone inlay and more — often finishing the top with a wrist chain or handle so the case could travel to balls, dinners and beyond.

The Cube borrows from the handheld vanity case, pairing a small boxy shape with a horizontal metal frame and a sliding top strap. The monogram canvas gives the silhouette a soft structure, lending this classic vanity inspiration an easy, languid French attitude.

· Metal Frame ·
As the latest member of the Triomphe Frame family, the Cube carries on the line's signature frame construction. The metal frame system keeps the cubic shape from losing its lines and lends the body a touch of old-world charm.

The frame is crafted in gold-finish brass, mirror-polished to a gleaming shine. At its center sits a Triomphe clasp: a light press releases the top flap, while a hinged back allows the case to open wide for easy access.

· Soft-Box Silhouette ·
The body is made from the house's most recognizable honey-colored Triomphe Canvas, trimmed in natural calfskin and lined in lambskin. The light, soft-box silhouette offsets the formality of the metal frame, exuding a relaxed, languid French spirit.

· Adjustable Strap ·
The strap threads directly through openings on either side of the flap, and its 17cm–31cm range allows for hand-carry or shoulder wear. Crafted in natural calfskin with visible topstitching, it sits in perfect harmony with the vintage-inspired monogram body and will develop a distinctive patina over time.

· What Fits Inside? ·
The cubic structure puts the entire interior in plain view, so you can spot what you need at a glance. Each side measures 12.5cm — slightly shorter than an iPhone Pro — so the phone fits only when angled, though the clasp still closes properly.

Open the bag and you'll find a thoughtful mirror set into the underside of the flap, handy for touch-ups and quick checks so you look polished wherever you are.

The boxy interior holds a slightly thicker wallet, tissues, a powder compact, keys and the like. Paired with everyday outfits or a dressed-up little dress, this refined little cube looks elegant and composed either way.
