· New Bags | Hermès Fall/Winter 2026 Preview: Boundless Horizons ·

On July 20, Hermès held a preview of its Fall/Winter 2026 collection at the Shanghai Hermès Maison. Staying true to the annual theme "Venture Beyond," the season's pieces artfully blend equestrian and nautical elements with everyday inspiration, inviting viewers to sense the call of distant horizons in the familiar and discover wonder in the ordinary.

· Plume Fourre-Tout On Radio ·
The undeniable showstopper was the Plume Fourre-Tout On Radio handbag. Inspired by vintage cassette radios, it reimagines the house's first leather travel bag—the Plume, born in the 1960s—in black Barénia calfskin. The bag retains its clean rectangular silhouette and generous capacity, while exquisite leather craftsmanship recreates the radio's speaker grille, tuning dials, and volume and power buttons. The cassette window opens via a button at the top, revealing a metal cardholder shaped like a cassette tape—a whimsical, artisanal touch.

· Paddock Protector ·

New Kelly and Bolide bags don sporty "racing gear" with a specially designed Paddock protector. Inspired by the blankets draped over horses in equestrian competition, the cover is crafted from Twillcoat, the same water-repellent cotton canvas used in Hermès trench coats, offering protection from rain. Functional exterior pockets and snap buttons add practicality. Matching leather trim outlines the silhouette and pocket lines, while rounded corners help distribute weight, infusing the bags with a vintage workwear aesthetic.

· Bolide ·

The Bolide 1923 mini handbag debuts with a Clou de forge jewelry chain strap. This new chain merges silversmithing and leather craftsmanship: 23 hand-assembled silver links are centered with a gold horseshoe nail, then interwoven with leather cords. The gleaming two-tone chain adds a lively sparkle to the bag.

The Bolide 1923 mini Élan handbag reinterprets the classic Bolide in a sleek East-West silhouette. Crafted from Mysore goatskin, it comes in fresh hues like rock gray and lemon yellow. Its compact form and removable strap allow for shoulder or crossbody wear.

The Bolide 1923 Secret handbag features a zippered bottom compartment with ample storage for organizing shoes and other items. Modular dividers are reinforced by a fully leather-wrapped aluminum structure to protect contents. Two leather pulls are attached to metal closures, and a padlock secures the zipper for added safety.

· Other Bags ·

A new tote bag is crafted from panels of Togo calfskin and Swift calfskin, seamed together with visible saddle stitching that traces its fluid lines. The shoulder strap running across the top is inspired by stirrup leathers, paying homage to equestrian heritage. The spacious interior is lined in H canvas, with wide accordion pleats lending structure and durability.

The new Clou de forge shoulder bag takes its cue from horseshoe nails. Two-tone gold and silver nails morph into closures that follow the bag's curve and into buckles for adjusting the strap. The flap slips through the closure like a bridle through a ring, ensuring smooth opening and closing. Made from glossy Box calfskin, the bag features clean, streamlined double accordion pleats.

A shoulder bag in Swift calfskin offers a compact, lightweight cylindrical silhouette. A top zip closure is accented with the iconic H padlock, while the clean design remains elegant and understated.

The Double Longe bucket bag draws inspiration from equestrian tack. Its Barénia grained calfskin body meets a Barénia Faubourg smooth leather base. The standout feature is the metal spring hook and ring on the side: the strap can be threaded through the ring and folded double for shoulder or crossbody wear.

The Mousqueton backpack is crafted from a single piece of calfskin for a minimalist bucket shape. A metal spring hook attached to a ring forms a secure closure system, continuing the equestrian motif. The adjustable strap allows for shoulder or back carry.

The Hobo Coins de malle handbag is made from soft, lustrous Evergrain calfskin. Lightweight and versatile, it can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody, with a laptop compartment inside and an accordion pocket on the front. Its signature detail is the reinforced corner design, inspired by the house's historic trunk craftsmanship. The corners extend from the front and back, folding over the accordion pleats to create soft rounded edges accented with stitching.

· Small Leather Goods ·
The new season's small leather goods are equally exciting. The In the Pocket series introduces practical accessories like a monocular, earphone case, round storage box, magnifying glass, tape measure, and mini pouch—offering refined aids for daily life while doubling as statement pieces to elevate any outfit.

A submarine-shaped bag charm pays elegant homage to the 1960s Hélice propeller cufflinks, inspired by the airship motif in French designer Loïc Dubigeon's scarf "Les Folies du ciel." The leather shell is crafted using glovemaking techniques, with a propeller that spins around a lacquered saddle nail. An apple-green charm takes its cue from origami: leather is meticulously folded into a delicate paper airplane, with a closure mechanism borrowed from watch strap engineering, capable of holding cards or earphones.

A table tennis paddle and its protective cover are presented by the Ateliers Horizons custom workshop. The cover features a colorful geometric horse head motif in Swift calfskin, while the handle is crafted from layered leather over a birch core, set with a mirror-polished titanium nameplate. The home collection also introduces sport-themed items like a tennis racket cover, table tennis paddle case, and tennis ball holder, all in Goéland canvas with striped straps. Bright hues exude energy, ready to accompany athletes on the court.
