The Balenciaga Summer 27 show has just wrapped in Paris, and this season's collection takes "Les Coraux de la Liberté" (Corals of Freedom) as its theme. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli brings the artisanal techniques of the house's haute couture ateliers to the varied silhouettes of both womenswear and menswear, giving everyday pieces a fresh, sculptural dimension. The palette moves gradually from white and ivory into orange and red, using the regenerative nature of coral as a metaphor for the resilience, heritage and vitality of the couture house.

The new season's bags come in soft, slouchy shapes and a vivid palette of bright orange, neon pink, cobalt blue and pale lilac, exuding an easy, relaxed attitude. The newly introduced Nodo bag is shaped by hand: supple, finely grained leather is pinched and folded by artisans to create natural creases and fluid lines, while knotted details at either side lend the bag a full, three-dimensional form and an elegant flourish. A detachable key charm hangs from one side of the strap, adding a carefree, grab-and-go feel.

The bucket bag is constructed from triangular leather panels and metal studs, evoking a warrior's armor. Its openwork design is light and airy, bringing a breathable quality to summer dressing.

This bag is pieced together from diagonally cut grained leather. The bias-cut technique gives it a naturally draped silhouette, and a single metal hook closure serves as its only decorative fastening — a minimalist, gender-neutral design that feels effortlessly at ease.

This shoulder bag pairs a vintage saddle silhouette with a curved top frame, its compact, rounded shape carrying a distinctly classic charm. The new Rodeo Tote streamlines the original flap construction, with a naturally draped front panel that conveys a free-spirited attitude, while the open top makes it easy to reach in and out. This season it arrives in aged vegetable-tanned leather, cobalt blue, red and green suede, and ivory-beige calfskin, among other materials.

The classic Rodeo bag features a contrast lining inside and out, with the naturally draped opening subtly revealing the bright interior — understated, yet with a clever little twist. The new Rodeo belt bag, worn at the waist, visually elongates the silhouette and adds a striking note to the overall look.

The Le City motorcycle bag is crafted from signature crinkled lambskin, rendered this season in high-saturation shades of cobalt blue and orange-red that make it a standout sight.
