Saint Laurent's Winter 2026 collection introduces a new handbag, the «Simone», inspired by handwritten letters exchanged between founder Yves Saint Laurent and his closest friends. The bag pairs a distinctive envelope silhouette with a double, three-dimensional YSL Cassandre metal emblem, striking a deft balance between supple leather and clean lines for a look that is at once elegant and poised.

The new Simone comes in two sizes, large and medium. The large measures 43x24.5x13cm and is crafted from soft calfskin, its envelope construction recalling the art of origami. A double YSL Cassandre emblem in brass creates a sculptural, three-dimensional effect that instantly draws the eye.

The sides of the bag form a triangular shape — narrow at the top and wider at the base — a subtle echo of the envelope flap that also lowers the bag's center of gravity for a more grounded silhouette. Inside, two compartments and a zipped pocket keep everything neatly organized. Slim leather handles emerge from the center of the body, allowing the bag to be carried by hand or on the shoulder, lending it an air of elegance.

Alongside the classic black-and-gold combination, the large size also comes in a deep orange smooth calfskin version, its warm, radiant hue adding a highlight to fall and winter looks. A dark olive suede style offers a soft, refined hand feel and an effortlessly relaxed mood.
